The onboard intelligence provides the motor with the precise frequency and voltage for optimum performance. The permanent magnets in the motor eliminate power wastage in magnetizing the rotor. The motor has superior starting torque and energy efficiency when compared with standard induction motor circulators.

True Variable speed – The pump speed is infinitely variable and is automatically adjusted by the controller to optimize performance and efficiency.

Sensorless operation – Not external sensors are required.

Simplicity – The only moving part is the rotor/impeller unit. The shaft, shaft seals and conventional bearing bushings have been eliminated.

Smart CONTROL MODES

The E10 has 3 smart operating modes:

Modes of Operation

  1. Proportional Pressure – Continuously adjusts the pump performance according to system demands. This mode of operation does not require external sensors and is recommended for systems with high pressure losses. The pump is configured to run in this mode at the factory.
  2. Constant Pressure – The pump maintains the selected differential pressure at any flow rate. This mode of operation does not require external sensors and is recommended for systems with relatively small pressure losses.
  3. Constant Speed – The pump maintains a fixed speed regardless of demand.

 

Auxiliary Functions

  1. Automatic Air Purge to remove any air trapped in the pump
  2. Standby use during long absences to minimize power consumption (<1w).

Designed for plumbing systems without a recirculation line, the ACT-4 uses unique ECM (Electronically Commutated Motor) technology to achieve significant energy savings while operating on as little as 20 watts of power.

Designed for plumbing systems without a recirculation line, the ACT-4 uses unique ECM (Electronically Commutated Motor) technology to achieve significant energy savings while operating on as little as 20 watts of power. A paired valve is installed under the sink, or other water outlet, farthest away from the water heater, where hot water takes the longest to arrive. The valve is battery operated and equipped with an onboard temperature sensor and wireless RF transceiver and communicates with the circulator pump mounted to the water heater or hot water source.

The ACT-4 is lead-free and features technology that turns the pump on only when the system needs to be replenished with hot water. The pump’s unique microprocessor provides the ECM the precise frequency and voltage for maximum efficiency. A few of the key features and benefits include:

How The ACT-E1 Works:
The auto circ pump is installed under the sink or faucet farthest from the water heater – where hot water usually takes the longest amount of time to arrive.

A built-in temperature sensor automatically turns the autocirc pump on when the water temperature in the hot water supply line cools down to 85º F. This cool water in the hot water supply line is then pumped into the cold water line and back into the water heater.

The autocirc pump turns off automatically when the hot water supply line to the faucet reaches a temperature of 95º F, ensuring the instant availability of shower warm water with maximum temperature hot water only seconds behind. When the pump is automatically turned off by the built-in thermostat, an auto closure device prevents hot or cold water from mixing in either supply line.

Another beneficial feature is that hot water will also be instantly available at all other faucets in the supply line between the water heater and the faucet where the autocirc pump is installed.

The Autocirc lead-free pump was designed with a highly efficient, electronically commutated, permanent magnet motor (ECM/PM technology) specifically for potable water systems. This unique design is perfect for retrofits. No recirculation pipe required.

The Autocirc Series is controlled by a timer and thermostat. A built-in temperature sensor automatically turns the pump ON when the water temperature in the hot water supply line cools down to 89.6ºF (32ºC). The pump turns OFF automatically when water temperature reaches 95ºF (35ºC), ensuring instant availability of warm water with hot water only seconds behind. The pump is also equipped with 24 hour, adjustable timer to provide the most cost effective method of operation. The timer can be programmed to run only during the time periods when hot water is most frequently required.

ACT E1:

DDC Pump

How the DDC Pump Works:
The permanent magnet rotor/impeller unit is driven by the magnetic field generated by the surrounding stator. The stator is wrapped entirely around the rotor. As a result, the entire pump is only slightly taller than the rotor itself, measuring only 1.5″ in height, perfect for applications where space is limited.

The Principle of the Spherical Motor:
Invented by Laing, it is fundamentally different from conventional canned motor pumps. The only moving part in a spherical motor is a hemispherical rotor/impeller unit which sits on an ultra-hard, wear-resistant ceramic ball. There are no conventional shaft bearings or seals. This eliminates bearing noise and seal leaks.

The smaller pump of the E series, this pump has the ability to be controlled by a built-in temperature sensor or have a variable speed control. Options include a PWM controller and a plug-in timer for additional energy savings.

This model has a bigger performance range and can be powered by either 115VAC or 230 VAC. The E10 model has three options for connections, a ¾”, 1” hose barb, or ¾” Male NPT connection.

E14 model

The UCT-909-Tankless is a timer and temperature controlled circulator. This innovative
product design provides a controlled hot water recirculation system for tankless water
heaters. The benefits of tankless water heater systems are increased by adding the luxury

sensor regulates the system temperature and limits the length of time the tankless heater
