The Goulds GSP0511 Effluent Pump series is a premium quality series pump designed to keep your basement dry. Goulds GSP0511 pumps are specifically designed for residential sump systems and can handle solids up to 1/2″ in diameter.

Features include a rugged cast iron motor housing for corrosion resistance and heat dissipation. The premium mechanical seal design (silicon carbide/carbon/BUNA) provides protection against sand abrasion and other particulates. A suction strainer that encompasses the entire base of the pump reduces debris altogether. The base, the volute, and the strainer are all made of cast iron, while the fasteners, handle, and float bracket are stainless steel. Performance rating by TDH below:

Note that the float switch on the automatic configuration is a vertical style float switch. Pumps come with a Xylem-serviced 2-year warranty.
