The Goulds JS+ Shallow Well Pump series is deal for use in homes, cottages, and for general booster service applications. Each JS+ pump has an integral shallow well jet built into the casing, eliminating the need for a separate shallow well adapter. The units here include the pump, shallow well jet adapter (Nozzle and venturi), an AS4 preset (30-50 PSI) pressure switch, and a motor.

Another key feature of the Goulds JS+ Shallow Well Pump is the air handling ability, meaning the pump can automatically reprime itself after the initial prime, even when air gets into the system. Pumping will simply resume as soon as the water level rises above the foot valve. In addition, the pump is powered for continuous operation within the motor limits, corrosion resistant (with baked on electro-coat paint) and easy to service, featuring a nozzle clean-out plug and back pull-out design. The two component motor compartment allows for easy access to the wiring and replaceable components.

The protected mechanical seal is a of a special diaphragm design that retains water in the casing at all times to ensure that the mechanical seal will never be run dry. The impeller is FDA compliant, corrosion and abrasion resistant glass filled Noryl, while the tubings and fittings are FDA compliant engineered plastic that is corrosion and UV resistant. The bolt down diffuser provides positive alignment with the impeller and includes a stainless steel wear ring, as well as FDA compliant, injection molded, glass filled Lexan for extended performance in abrasive conditions.
