Zoeller 73 Aqua-Mate Builder Series

Today I am highlighting the Zoeller 73 Aqua-Mate Builder Series sump pump. The Zoeller 73, is a submersible sump pump, designed to handle groundwater or effluent water in residential or light commercial application settings.

The Zoeller 73 can handle groundwater or effluent with up to ⅜” spherical solids and is completely submersible in waters up to 104°F. This pump can fit into 12″ diameter pits.

Construction

The Zoeller 73 features a variable composite construction, with the motor housing made of cast iron, while the volute, base, and non-clog vortex impeller are made of engineered plastic. The motor housing also includes a baked on enamel finish for corrosion resistance and heat dissipation. The motor is oil filled and features a auto reset thermal overload for added protection. In addition, a reserve safety factor is engineered into the design of the pump for unusual conditions.

The shaft is 410 stainless steel, the rotary mechanical seals are carbon and ceramic and the gasket is watertight NBR rubber.

A reliable integrated float switch is built into the pump for easy automatic operation. The on point is 6.5″ while the off point is 2.5″. The model listed below includes a UL listed power cord with 3-prong plug and a plastic carry handle.

All in all, this is a solid sump pump for your groundwater or effluent  transportation needs.
