The Liberty LE40 series sewage pumps are heavy-duty (ASTM class 25 or better) cast iron sewage pumps that operate at 4/10 horsepower and can handle 2″ solids. These rugged pumps include a vortex style impeller that makes it easy to pass solids. The motor is submersible, oil filled, hermetically sealed, and thermally protected with an automatic overload reset. The windings are class B insulation while the rotor shaft is 416 stainless steel. The shaft seal is a carbon/ceramic unitized design encased in BUNA N elastomers with a stainless steel housing. A epoxy coated finish helps the pump resist corrosion and last for a long time.
