Pump Products Expands Brick-and-Mortar Locations

PumpProducts.com, a national online distributor of pumps and motors, is expanding its brick-and-mortar operations with a new state-of-the-art building in Westwood, New Jersey this summer.

Pump Products new Westwood facility
Pump Products new Westwood facility will house a large inventory and service center.

“This new, additional facility will be a one stop shop for all your pump and motor needs, from purchase to service and repair,” says PumpProducts.com General Manager Ed Drejman.

The warehouse will comfortably house an expansive inventory of products. PumpProducts.com carries all types of pumps – well pumps, sewage pumps, sump pumps – that can be used for a wide variety of residential, commercial and industrial applications. A treasure trove of repair parts, control parts (e.g., alarms or timers) and other accessories will be immediately available to customers.

The increased inventory will help people across the country get products faster. When ordering a product directly from a manufacturer, customers are often at the mercy of a fickle factory schedule. PumpProducts.com can better respond immediately to customer emergencies. A man in Arizona with a broken circulator pump can order a new one from their online catalog and it will be shipped overnight.

Pump Products and Pump Express

Affiliate business Pump Express handles all service and repair projects. The Westwood building will feature a service center where factory trained technicians will be fully equipped with a wide toolbox of repair parts. Specialized repair equipment such as lathes and Bridgeport milling machines will help technicians craft new parts like pump bearings and shafts.

Customers from all over the country can send damaged pumps to the Westwood facility for top notch service, regardless of where the pump was bought. Locals in the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut Tri-State area can simply walk in and drop off equipment.

In addition, the storefront gives customers the chance to browse and talk shop with the company’s factory trained applications engineers. If a customer is not sure what pump control he should buy for his system, he can simply walk in and ask.

Pump Express also serves as a trusted warranty partner for top brand manufacturers such as Goulds, Zoeller and Liberty. Certain items under warranty can be evaluated directly by Pump Express technicians rather than dealing with the manufacturer.

“What sets us apart is that we’re not just an ecommerce business or a repair business. We’re a pump business,” Drejman says. “If you buy a pump product from one of those big box retailers, they don’t have the expertise we have.”

The new facility is just another step in an aggressive expansion plan for Pump Products that will take place over the next several years, according to Drejman.

“Demand for our products has really grown in the past few years. Westwood is the first step in meeting that demand,” Drejman says. “Keeping with our motto, ‘When You Need It Today,’ it’s important for us to quickly deliver on our services without sacrificing quality.”
