Goulds RGS2012 Residential Grinder Pump

The pump is capable of grinding domestic and raw sewage containing small quanitities of plastic, rubber, cloth, paper and other non-abrasive solids.  It is designed for high head sewage applications where a gravity system is not practical.  Ideal for pressure sewage systems.

• Anti-roping design cutter system with two blade rotary cutter threaded to shaft. Stationary cutter ring is reversible for extended service
• Silicon bronze semi-open impeller with non-overloading two vane design and pump-out vanes for mechanical seal protection
• Cast iron volute type casing for high efficiency
• High grade turbine oil surrounds motor for more efficient heat dissipation, permanent lubrication of bearings and mechanical seal, and protection against outside environment
• 300 series stainless steel motor shaft, short overhang for minimum shaft deflection

• Upper and lower ball bearings for precision positioning of parts and to carry all radial and thrust loads
• Mechanical seal with hardfaced silicon carbide for longer life, stainless steel metal parts, BUNA-N elastomers
