Why don't we show the price?
MAP ("Minimum Advertised Price")
Some manufacturers require internet retailers to display a price at or above manufacturers established MAP ("Minimum Advertised Price").
Since our price for this product is lower than MAP, the manufacturer does not allow us to display our lowest price until you place the product in the shopping cart. This allows us to continue offering our lowest prices while staying consistent with product manufacturers policy.
This process does not require you to purchase the product - it can be easily removed from shopping cart if needed.

3SDX series Explosion Proof Goulds Sewage Pumpsare designed to move wastewater in potentially hazardous locations*, specifically in commercial and light industrial applications. Common application locations include sewage systems, flood and pollution control systems, in hospitals, trailer courts, hotels and motels. These pumps are submersible and capable of handling 2.5″ maximum waste solids. The Goulds 3SDX series sewage pumps are listed to operate in Class 1, Group C and Group D hazardous locations.
The important thing with explosion proof pumps is that the construction components must be non-sparking. To that end, the both the volute and impeller of the 3SDX series Explosion Proof Goulds Sewage Pumps is made of heavy duty gray cast iron (ASTM A48 Class 30). The tandem mechanical seals are carbon rotary and ceramic stationary contained in an oil-filled chamber. Each pump also has a dual probe moisture detection system in the chamber. The motor conforms to the latest NEMA, NEC, IEEE and ANSI standards.
The rugged components and careful construction ensure safe operation and consistent wastewater transport in a hazardous location. All models include a 25 ft. power cord.
*Hazardous locations are classified by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the National Electric Code (NEC). Broadly speaking, a hazardous location is one in which gases or vapors may be present in the air, in quantities sufficient enough to produce sparks or ignition.
