Baldor-Reliance Severe Duty, Division 1 Explosion Proof motors are designed to provide exceptional performance and long life in harsh industrial processing applications with potentially explosive atmospheres.  These premium construction motors include features desiged to protect against contamination, moisture, vibration and will contain an explosion inside and not propagate it into the surrounding atmosphere. UL & CSA listed for Class I (Gas), Group D, Class II (Dust), Group E, F, & G with a T3C temperature code. Motors have a 1.15 service factor and are suitalble for fixed speed, sine wave only operation.
