The Goulds LB series of Booster Pumps provide an economical alternative for small booster sets with flow requirements up to 18 GPM and heads up to 190 feet. Applications for this series include reverse osmosis (R/O) systems and potable water boosting. This series of single stage pumps features casing constructed of stainless steel. Centerline connections are NPT threaded with easily accessible vent, prime, and drain connections. Stainless steel plugs make this series particularly convenient. Impellers, guide vanes and motor adapters are all built with high strength but also light weight engineered composite. Mechanical seals are standard John Crane type 6 seals with carbon ceramic faces, EPR elastomers, and stainless steel metal parts. Motors in this series are NEMA standard 48Y and 56Y open drip proof enclosures with optional single phase and three phase TEFC configuration. Please note that Pumps From The LB Seriesshould not be used with liquids that contain caustic substances, detergents, hydrocarbons, petroleum, or acids. For three phase motors, overload protection must be provided in the starter unit. Starter and heaters must be ordered separately.
