Booster pump designed for hydronic heating and cooling in closed loop systems. The three-part design (motor, bearing assembly, volute) results in compact construction and ease of repair in the field. All Bell & Gossett boosters are equipped with the incomparable B&G manufactured motor for quiet and efficient operation.

- B&G Motor featuring sleeve bearing, oil lubricated with replaceable resilient motor mounts.
- Long bronze sleeve bearings maintain exact shaft alignment and provide for constant circulation of oil over bearing surfaces.
- Noise dampening coupler.
- Precision ground pump shaft is oversized to provide large bearing surfaces. Hardened integral thrust collar minimizes end-thrust to ensure long seal and bearing life.
- The B&G mechanical seal is designed to withstand the wide range of water temperatures, pressures, additives and dissolved solids common in hydronic systems.
- Centrifugal impeller prevents accumulation of air at seal faces to assure long life. Close impeller/body tolerances minimize water slippage and maximize efficiency.
Bell & Gossett PD series cast iron, in-line circulator pumps are intended to pump water through closed loop systems for heating and cooling. The PD series is designed for applications that require increased flow and head pressures. These dependable pumps feature a three-piece design, which includes a motor, bearing assembly and volute. This innovative design provides for easy field service as the bearings, shaft and seal are all housed within the bearing assembly. That assembly can then be easily repaired or entirely replaced without disturbing the other components of your pump.
