Goulds VTX Series Sewage Pumps Buyers Guide & Review

Goulds VTX Series Sewage Pumps are designed for use in homes, water transfer systems, sewage systems, dewatering/effluent applications, and any applications in which waste or drainage must be disposed of quickly, quietly, and efficiently. Goulds VTX Series can be installed in either commercial or light industrial applications.

Features include a cast iron, multivane vortex impeller in which solids don’t touch the vanes, allowing the pump to handle up to 2″ solids and easily pass stringy materials. Clogging is minimized. The cast iron volute is rugged and designed for easy installation on the A10-20 slide rail or base elbow rail systems.  The shaft is corrosion resistant stainless steel of a threaded design and with a locknut to guard against component damage should accidental reverse rotation occur. The mechanical seal includes silicon carbide vs silicon carbide sealing faces, stainless steel metal parts, and BUNA-N elastomers. The fasteners are 300 series stainless steel as well.

Additionally, the motor is energy efficient and high performance, with Class B insulation and a built-in overload with automatic reset. Goulds VTX Sewage Pumps are designed for continuous operation when fully submerged and are capable of running dry without damage to components.
