The Sta-Rite HMS Series pumps are horizontal, multi-stage jet pumps primarily used for water and sprinkling applications in homes, farms and cottages. These convertible pumps can be used as shallow well, deep well or centrifugal pumps. Ventilating air cannot contaminate vital switching components eliminating the most common cause of motor failure Dynamically balanced rotor is diecast under high pressures for uniform performance and greater efficiency Heavy-duty ball bearings are shielded and permanently lubricated, extensively tested to ensure extended life and smooth, quiet operation Pump and motor shaft are made of stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance; one-piece threaded shaft for positive impeller drive and alignment Suction port: drive-over-suction Notes Pumps installed with a Pro-Source tank require a 100 psi relief valve Pumps installed with a conventional tank require a 75 psi Relief valve must be capable of relieving entire flow of pump at relief pressure Please note that if using this pump for NEW INSTALLATIONS, a jet assembly package and an automatic pressure regulator PKG 107 must be purchased separately (see brochure in Manuals tab for choosing the appropriate jet assembly).
