Goulds 3887BF WS_BF pumps can be used for sewage, effluent and general wastewater applications in residential or light commercial settings.
These pumps are ruggedly built with both a cast iron volute and impeller for corrosion resistance. The volute is flanged for easy installation on a slide rail or base elbow rail system while the impeller is a semi-open nonclog type with pump out vanes to direct waste away from the mechanical seal. The seal itself is comprised of silicon carbide vs. silicon carbide sealing faces contained in BUNA-N elastomers and with stainless steel parts. The fasteners are also 300 series stainless steel. While Goulds 3887BF WS_BF pumps are designed for continuous operation when submerged, they can also be run dry without damage to the components.
