Armstrong’s Astro 2 Series Wet Rotor Circulator Pumps bring adaptability to a new level. Designed to move liquids through closed hydronic or solar heating systems efficiently and with minimal maintenance, these three-speed circulators allow users to match a wide range of application requirements.

Rated at 1/25th hp and 115 volts, with a rated flow of zero to 18 gallons per minute and a rated head of zero to 18 feet, the Armstrong 230 is a three-speed pump, designed to handle today’s most common pump applications.

Models are available with union, sweat, or rotated flange connections for easy installation in even the tightest corners. Integral check valves prevent backflow and eliminate the need for discrete check valve addition, minimizing installation and maintenance costs.

The Astro 230’s unique three-speed design allows the pump to be set to a wide range of system head and flow specifications. And once installed, these units can be adjusted to rectify discrepancies in estimated system resistance and to accommodate an increased number of zones.

One of the pump’s most outstanding features is its vent plug, which can be used to purge air from the system after installation. This eliminates the need to drain and refill the entire boiler in order to rid it of air.

Available in sizes ranging from 33 to 218 watts, the 12-model Astro Series line replaces 128 competing models, making the Armstrong 230 one of the most versatile pumps on the market today.
