The Barnes Boss series of elevator oil sensor switches and effluent pump packages is designed to control simplex pump applications. This series removes water automatically from elevator pits without any human intervention while preventing oil from being pumped into the environment.

This package includes:

• High water, high oil, pump run, and power on led indicators
• Auxiliary contacts for remote alarms (high water and high oil), auto dialer or building automation system
• If the water level continues to rise and reaches the High Water Probe, the red high water LED indicator illuminates and auxiliary contacts close (activating the High Water alarm or other remote device).
• If the oil level rises to activate the mechanical High Oil Float, the red high oil LED indicator illuminates and auxiliary contacts close (activating an optional High Water alarm or other remote device).
• ASME A17.1 compliant system
