When a plumbing system is set lower than a municipal sewer line, sewage pumps are used to pump wastewater from a collection basin up to the main sewer. In septic tank systems sewage pumps often move fluid waste to a leach field. Sewage pumps are designed to pump fluids containing soft solids of up to 2” in diameter. They are submersible and often controlled by float switches that activate the pump when the liquid level in the basin rises. Sewage pumps are rated in horsepower and most models are capable of moving several thousand gallons of fluid per hour. PumpProducts.com is a Sewage Pump Distributor and we offer Sewage Ejector Pumps at the guaranteed lowest price! We sell Submersible Sewage Pumps directly to the consumer, contractor, commercial, industrial and municipal markets, so you pay less for all of our Sewage Pump Systems for sale.  If you're looking for a repair part, you can search through our extensive collection of Zoeller parts or call our Customer Support Counter today at 1-800-429-0800. • Zoeller Shallow and Convertible Deep Well Jet Pumps Buyers Guide & Review

    April 25, 2019

Zoeller shallow well and convertible deep well jet pumps feature sturdy construction, corrosion resistance, easy serviceability, and excellent performance. Well pumps are used to deliver water from a well to a home that is not connected to a municipal water supply. They are also commonly used for small-scale irrigation and livestock watering. Well pumps are available in shallow, deep well convertible, and submersible designs. Jet well pumps are surface pumps configured above the well system, while a jet assembly system (twin pipe or Packer depending on the application) is inserted into the well shaft. The main components of a jet pump are a nozzle, venturi, and the jet itself. The pumps components work together to create a vacuum above the water, which allows atmospheric pressure underneath to push the water upwards. Jet pumps can be either horizontally or vertically configured and are much the same size and shape as other pumps. Features Cast iron shallow well jet pumps Sturdy, cast iron construction Includes removable ejector for easy serviceability Includes pressure switch Thermal overload protects against overheating Special priming port and large volume case makes priming easier Continuous duty, uni-frame, 56 frame motor (NEMA J adaptable) Capacitor start motors provide maximum starting torque Stainless steel motor shaft sleeve for corrosion-resistance Easy access drain plug for winterizing Carbon/ceramic mechanical shaft seal Cast iron convertible deep well jet pumps with power plus 56 frame motor Sturdy, cast iron construction Highly serviceable NEMA J or NEMA J adaptable motors Includes pressure switch Thermal overload protects against overheating Ejector purchased separately ZOELLER SHALLOW & CONVERTIBLE DEEP WELL JET PUMPS Model Comparison Chart Model Discharge Suction HP Voltage Phase NE460 3/4" 1-1/4" 1/2 115/230 1 NE461 3/4" 1-1/4" 3/4 115/230 1 NE462 3/4" 1-1/4" 1/2 115/230 1 NE463 3/4" 1-1/4" 1 115/230 1 DIAGRAM CAPACITIES REPLACEMENT PARTS TROUBLESHOOTING BROCHURE Zoeller Shallow and Convertible Deep Well Jet Pumps Brochure OWNERS MANUAL Zoeller Shallow and Convertible Deep Well Jet Pumps Owner's Manual Pump Products application engineers are standing by to help you find the right pump, as well as to provide price quotes, stocking availability and shipping information. • Zoeller Basins Buyers Guide & Review

    April 24, 2019

Zoeller sump and sewage basins collect and contain wastewater before it is removed from a building’s system by way of a submersible sewage pump. It is a critical part of any wastewater (sewage, effluent, sump) system. Commonly constructed with fiberglass or high grade plastic, basins are heavy duty containers. They come in a variety of system types (simplex or duplex), sizes, and applications. Some basins operate with multiple types of pumps while others are designed expressly to be paired with a specific pump. Basins sit below grade while the pump itself sits at the bottom of the basin. How it functions is simple: wastewater enters the basin through an inlet pipe or port. The wastewater accumulates in the basin until it reaches a certain level, at which point your sewage pump will activate (by way of a float switch or preset control) and pump the wastewater through a discharge pipe out of the building to a municipal sewer or septic tank. Features Available in high-density polyethylene structural foam, polyethylene or fiberglass Ideal for residential, commercial and industrial applications Complete with necessary sealing hardware and flanges Available with 2” or 3” vent and 2” or 3” discharge Centerline of hub is located 10-1/2” (26.7 cm) from top of basin (standard), custom locations available Polyethylene sewage pump basins are IAPMO approved For 10’ (3 m) stack test models, refer to charts Sealed, radon basins for sump pumps in 18” x 22” (46 x 56 cm) and 18” x 30” (46 x 76 cm) sizes Polyethylene sump basins available with plastic, non-sealed covers in 18" x 22" (46 x 56 cm) Sewage basins are watertight and gas-tight when properly installed Durable steel cover with gasket standard on simplex and duplex sewage basins One-piece, seam-free construction on all basins Duplex covers include two pump plates and an inspection plate Ready to install for economical and simple installation Dimensional engineering data available Temperature rated 130 °F (54 °C) Fiberglass models available that will pass the 10’ (3 m) water stack test—refer to charts (L.A. – RR-5311) Various custom diameters and lengths available in fiberglass, consult factory (also with 10’ (3 m) water stack test) Consult factory for larger size basins or special applications Notes Basins are not designed to be installed where saturated soil hydrostatic pressure extends above the top of the pit unless the pressure is relieved by an independent drainage system. Basin cover vent and discharge seals may be rubber insert or bolted on flange design.
