Liberty 230 Series Sump Pumps Buyers Guide & Review

The Liberty 230 series sump pumps are rugged pumps designed for domestic groundwater applications.

These Liberty 230 pumps are constructed with a solid polypropylene and powder coated aluminum construction casing. The rotor shaft and fasteners are non-corrosive stainless steel. The upper and lower bearings are permanently lubricated, while the powerful oil-filled hermetically sealed motor comes with thermal overload protection.

A high temperature engineered thermoplastic vortex style impeller allows each pump to pass water with up to ⅜” solids. The pumps listed below are light (11 lbs.) and compact (height 10.5″ x 9.6″ major width). A removable base allows suction all the way down to ⅛”. The main difference among models is the type of float; please note that the Liberty 237 requires a minimum sump diameter of 14″.

All models include a standard 10 ft. quick disconnect power cord that can easily be replaced without breaking the seals to the motor.
