Pump Products Gears Up For the Market

Set to launch in September 2013, on-line pump supplier PumpProducts.com has created an inventory of pumps, motors and generators characterized by heavy-duty design, high performance and versatility. The new e-commerce site’s offerings reflect the changing demands of the residential and light commercial pump markets.

In addition to the leading consumer pumps offered by big-box stores, including models by Armstrong, Taco, Berkeley and Grundfos, Pump Products will offer customers a variety of gas-powered pumps traditionally used in commercial and industrial applications.

Prior to 2011, engine driven pumps fueled by gas or diesel were largely limited to agricultural and construction applications. In the aftermath of Hurricanes Irene and Sandy, diesel and gas-powered pumps have become a growing segment of the pump market because they can pump large volumes of water in areas with no power.

In addition to engine-driven, gas-fueled pumps, Pump Products will offer a wide range of high performance electric pumps equipped with back up batteries that will kick in if the power goes out. Along with PHCC Pro Series’ PS-C33 combination primary and backup sump pump systems, Pump Products will sell battery back up systems by  Liberty and Zoeller.

Widespead power outages along the East Cost have led to a rise in demand for quality electrical generators and Pump Products will carry a wide range of generators from Generac, Rheem and Briggs & Stratton.

Meeting the demand for high-performance pumps extends beyond dewatering pumps to wastewater disposal pumps. The large scale use of plastic to produce consumer sanitary products has led to an increase in chronic clogging in domestic sewage disposal systems. Pump Products will address the new wastewater challenges with a variety of commercial grade grinder pumps for residential applications such as Liberty Pumps ProVore, which provides maximum efficiency and grinding power in a small, easy-to-install, single-horsepower pump.

The same economic shifts that have led to the current surge in DIY home repairs are leading consumers to seek out products that are both durable and versatile. Pump Products staff research and select pumps, motors and generators that combine quality construction with design efficiency, such as the Armstrong’s Astro 2 Series 3-Speed Wet Rotor Circulator Pump which provides unmatched performance over a wide range of head and flow requirements and can accommodate a fluctuating number of zones.

Upon launching this fall, Pump Products will provide customers with clear, detailed information on sump pumps, sewage pumps, HVAC circulators and a variety of other pump types along with their corresponding parts and accessories in a rich, multi-layered retail site that’s easy to navigate.

In addition to serving as a portal to an extensive inventory of quality pumps and pump parts from Armstrong, Zoeller, Bell & Gossett, Grundfos, Taco and dozens of other leading manufacturers, Pump Products will provide customers with the lowest prices on the internet, so that along with high performance and quality, savings are a part of every customer’s purchase.
