The Armstrong Astro 2 series of re-circulation pumps is designed for dedicated return in three-pipe plumbing installations.  It automatically circulates water through domestic water pipes. This ensures that hot water is available instantly at every tap throughout a residence.  With this recirculation pump, far less water is wasted each time a hot water faucet is opened.  It saves an average of 12,000 gallons of water annually for a typical four-person household.  This model comes assembled, wired, tested, and ready for installation.  No electrician required for installation! The Armstrong Astro 2 series of circulator pumps is designed for closed hydronic systems. This series is intended to circulate water or glycol solutions. The Astro 2 series is also designed to work up to 230°F and 150 psi while operating quietly and requiring zero maintenance.
